NEW FURNITURE SECTION !Visit our New Furniture Section in newly added space. The Dahlonega Care Center (DCC) Thrift Shop is now open Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturday, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Please bring furniture during our open hours. We are accepting nice/clean furniture, but, call first (706-867-6901) to see if current available space will permit your donation. Because of our space limitations, large appliances or exercise equipment can not be accepted. The Thrift Shop is located at 387 E. North Grove Street -- in the Factors Summit Office Complex. Directions from the Dahlonega Square: Go east from the Square on U.S. 19/52. Turn left at the stop light and go north on U.S.19 (North Grove Street). You will see the Huddle House on your right and take the first driveway on your left just past the Huddle House into the Factor's Summit. Stay to the right of GEO Image building and proceed to the last door in the building on your right - 387 E. If you take the Care Center driveway (directly across from the Huddle House), you will see the Care Center house on your left and the Thrift Shop "Drop-off" Building (light blue) in the back parking lot. The door on the right is always open for your drop-offs of clothes and house wares. Furniture must be dropped off at the Thrift Shop (see directions above). To get the the Thrift Shop from the Care Center, follow the driveway around the back of the brick office building complex to the adjacent, second brick office building. The first door on the left (387 E) is the DCC Thrift Shop. This is a very large and clean thrift shop with different items being put out for sale each week. There are different color tags for each month and the items are discounted if they have been displayed and not sold. There are items for the entire family -- clothes, books, house wares, shoes, and toys are sold at the DCC Thrift Shop.
